Description
Brahmi is neither a shrub nor a prominent tree, but a modest low-growing and creeping plant. Its height ranges from 10 cm to 30 cm. It has small leaves and white to light blue flowers.
Brahmi is an aquatic plant, and thus it can be found in marshy and flood-prone areas, wetlands, and along riverbanks. Although it now grows almost all over the world, its original home was in the countries of Southeast Asia - India, Vietnam, China, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
It can be grown as a houseplant.

Brahmi is used in Ayurvedic medicine to strengthen and regenerate the nervous system. It is considered an effective "brain nutrient."
