Description

Cornflower (Centaurea) is a large genus of plants in the Asteraceae family, encompassing 350–730 species according to various sources. It is primarily distributed in Europe, the Mediterranean, and southwestern Asia. One of the most beautiful flowers, there are over 20 varieties in the Czech Republic, with the most well-known being the stunning blue field cornflower. Unfortunately, we don't encounter it as often nowadays.

Its petals are used as decoration for their beautiful color.
