Description

Litsea cubeba is an evergreen tree native to China, used for many years in traditional Chinese medicine. It is related to the classic bay laurel, whose product is the well-known spice - bay leaf. The fruits of the cubeb laurel (Litsea cubeba) are used to obtain an essential oil that has a fresh citrus aroma.

Effects and Uses

The essential oil of Litsea cubeba has antifungal, disinfectant, repellent, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is suitable for oily and problematic skin, cleansing it, tightening pores, and reducing sebum production. It acts against stretch marks and cellulite. It refreshes tired legs.
