Raw Materials & Ingredients
The foundation of our products primarily consists of oils, butters, waxes, and herbs. We always seek the right ingredients primarily from Czech sources, and only if we cannot find an ingredient with the desired properties do we look elsewhere. However, we always keep in mind the highest quality and sustainability. It is crucial for us that the raw materials are not tested on animals and have an ethical origin.
Suppliers and Certifications
Most of the oils we source come from Czech companies that press them themselves. Functional oils are cold-pressed or of organic quality. We only use ethically sourced palm oil with RSPO certification. Shea butter is of organic quality, as are most spices and other ingredients that are also food products.
The wonderful scent of our products is ensured by 100% essential oils, from which we intentionally do not select the rare ones, as their extraction puts a strain on the environment.
Fancy products contain fragrances that are always specially formulated for use in soaps and cosmetics, are not tested on animals, and do not harm the skin or nature. In the INCI, we always provide a list of allergens that fragrances and essential oils naturally contain.
As a colorant, we use mineral powder - mica, for which its origin is also very important due to the potential use of child labor in its mining. Our mica is therefore sourced from European sources and is cruelty and child labor free.
Ecology
We are diligently working to leave the smallest ecological footprint possible. In Almara Soap products, you will not find harmful substances such as foaming agents, synthetic dyes, or preservatives that would contaminate the environment upon use. With our soaps, you can confidently and with a clear conscience immerse yourself in nature and wash in a river without fear of polluting it.
