Zero Waste – protecting nature

We honor nature and actively engage in its protection, which is why we produce, package, and ship our soaps and cosmetics in a way that minimizes our impact on the environment and the life around us. We continuously educate ourselves and seek new ways to advance in this regard and further improve our practices.

Sustainability

We want to be among those who contribute to reducing unnecessary waste production, and we approach this issue comprehensively. This also relates to our communication, which we do not aim to anchor unnecessarily on physical media, such as hundreds of printed flyers, posters, or brochures that ultimately end up in a waste pile. We value human work and the time that goes into everything. Therefore, we only print a minimum of basic product brochures, and when we do, it’s only on eco-friendly paper. The same goes for our invoices and delivery notes.

We carefully select the individual ingredients of our products to ensure they have the best possible impact on the health of our customers, while their production and distribution have the least possible impact on the planet. We appreciate what we already have, quality raw materials, and the energy that every single person invests in their work. We adapt the entire philosophy of Almara Soap
- so that we can at least partly give back to nature what it gives us every day.

Packaging

Products

Beautiful packaging moves the world, but what if great products moved it instead? Shiny embellishments often hide a cheap, low-quality product that falls far short of the stated value, and moreover, unnecessarily burden the environment. Therefore, we use only the essential packaging materials.

For soaps, this means a label made of recycled paper (due to mandatory information about product composition), and for cosmetics, we use glass jars with metal lids and paper labels, or with a paper tag attached with jute twine. Only for some cosmetic products do we use jars with droppers set in PVC. All packaging can be reused after the cosmetic product is used; there is no need to throw it away.

Shipping Packaging

For preparing packages for shipping, we use cardboard boxes, paper adhesive tapes, and as padding, we use paper shavings, biodegradable starch padding Flo-pak®, or other padding materials that we reuse from packages sent by our suppliers. Recycling already used materials, including plastics, is also eco-friendly and zero waste.

Soaps are protected in the package with bags made of recycled paper. We strive not to unnecessarily purchase new packaging materials and hope that you will also send ours back out into the world.

We supply eco-friendly packaging materials along with our products to stores of our business partners to further support the spreading of our philosophy.
