Description

Aloe vera is a succulent plant native to Africa, which many of us successfully grow at home as a houseplant. Its leaves contain a gel rich in polysaccharides, enzymes, vitamins A, B, C, and E, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids. The gel also contains lignin, a substance that serves a hydrophobic function in plants and binds intercellular fibers. This organic compound ensures the penetration of active ingredients deep into the skin, thereby aiding in its rapid healing.

Leaf collection: throughout the year.

Effects and Uses

Aloe vera juice has regenerative, soothing, hydrating, cooling, softening, healing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and disinfecting effects. It's no wonder this plant is called the "pharmacy in a pot." It creates a protective film on the skin and is suitable for treating minor wounds, light burns, insect bites, eczema, or psoriasis. It ensures the regeneration of damaged tissues and softens dry skin and hair. When taken internally, it strengthens the immune system and positively affects the digestive system. It fights inflammation in the body and supports detoxification.
