Description
Red orange is the fruit of an evergreen tree with white flowers - the Chinese orange tree. It is the most widely spread species of orange tree. It can grow up to 10 meters tall and is mainly found in Asia and the Mediterranean. Essential oil is extracted from the leaves, shoots, and peels of the orange tree, which has a greenish to bright yellow color. Its main components include the essential oils limonene and myrcene.
Effects and Use
Essential oil from red orange has cleansing, antioxidant, and healing properties. It is suitable for all skin types, including problematic, dry, and mature skin. It regulates sebum production and combats dandruff in hair care. In cosmetic products, it acts as a natural preservative.
