This scrub has intentions as pure as its composition. It won't deceive you with promises that, with a wave of a magic wand, your skin will be as smooth as glass. Instead, it offers you a very effective helping hand to set you on the best path toward that goal.

The Perfect Body Scrub is based on fine sea salt and crushed oats, which exfoliate dead skin cells and promote metabolism. It also contains an herbal macerate in sunflower oil made from birch, rosemary, and ivy, known for their firming and circulation-boosting effects. Additionally, it includes light and gentle cold-pressed oils – grapeseed and hemp – that hydrate, nourish, and soften the skin.

You will also find a unique ingredient – powder from the Asian herb gotu kola. This herb is valued especially for its antioxidant, cleansing, and regenerative properties. The added 100% essential oils of sage, grapefruit, red orange, patchouli, and rosemary, along with lavender flowers, impart a wonderful fragrance to the scrub while also enhancing its effects on the skin.

We recommend using the scrub in combination with our Perfect Body oil to ensure maximum results at least 2–3 times a week.

Gotu kola

Description

Gotu kola is a perennial herb characterized by round leaves on long petioles. It has a creeping nature, and its ability to form a continuous green carpet perfectly captures the term - ground cover. The five-petaled white flowers of gotu kola cluster in an umbel inflorescence. The fruit is a ribbed achene that naturally splits into two oval seeds.

Gotu kola requires a warm, humid environment, thriving in muddy to marshy soils. It originates from the Indian region and can also be found in other South Asian countries or on the island of Madagascar. Gotu kola can occasionally appear in dry soils or on rocks up to an altitude of 2500 meters above sea level.

The above-ground parts of the gotu kola plant are used for medicinal purposes in traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda.
