Silky Body | Original
Vegan whipped body butter with a beautiful scent of herbs and citrus
Like a nut in a fairy tale hiding beautiful embroidered dresses, this eco-friendly jar conceals a light silk veil of natural treasures that envelops your body in an unparalleled sensation of softness, beauty, and vitality. The whipped butter has a lighter texture, making it easier to spread and absorb into the skin. Thanks to this production method, we didn't need to add beeswax to the butter, making it suitable for vegans.
It contains plant oils and butters – organic shea butter, cold-pressed apricot oil, cocoa butter, and organic fair trade coconut oil, which will leave your skin velvety smooth, supple, and nourished after use. It is further enriched with herbal macerate in sunflower oil – rose, plantain, lavender, and calendula, known for their caring and regenerative properties. The composition is complemented by the amazing and less common in body cosmetics olive squalane, which hydrates the skin, protects it from external influences, and provides antioxidant effects. The wonderful scent of the butter comes from essential oils of geranium, lavender, and orange.
Don't be fooled! This is the original and much-loved version of the intoxicating Silky Body. The butter remains just as amazing in its composition, only the name has changed!
Warning: The butter contains no hardeners or waxes, making it very light and not overly greasy. Therefore, it is also sensitive to higher temperatures. We recommend storing it in the fridge or in a cool place.

Description
Squalane is derived from the natural substance squalene, which is most commonly extracted from olive or other plant oils, but is also naturally present in the human body. Squalane has the same properties as squalene, but is more stable and lasts longer. These names are sometimes mistakenly interchanged. Squalane is very lightweight and helps other active ingredients to spread better and be absorbed into the skin. Its composition is very similar to that of sebum.

Maceration, or steeping, is a process through which active substances and fragrances contained in herbs (or other ingredients) are released directly into a carrier medium, which can be:
- oil – a macerate is created, the steeping occurs cold in a closed container for a minimum of 3 weeks,
- alcohol – a tincture is produced, most commonly used in herbal medicine,
- water – an infusion is created, or in the case of heating, which accelerates the maceration process, it is a decoction.
These resulting products can be used either alone or as an additive. At Almara Soap, herbal macerates and decoctions are utilized in the preparation of some natural soaps and cosmetics. This process ensures that the final product contains the maximum amount of active ingredients, which transfer directly from the carefully selected herbs.
