Apricot oil

Description

Apricot oil is obtained by pressing the seeds of the common apricot tree. It contains a high amount of unsaturated essential fatty acids, B vitamins, vitamin A, E, and potassium. It is very gentle, absorbs well, and does not leave a greasy feeling. It is considered one of the more luxurious oils.

Effects and Usage

Apricot oil has softening, regenerating, nourishing, and soothing effects. It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, baby, eczema-prone, or problematic skin, as well as for hair wraps. Together with almond oil, it is recommended for treating the skin of newborns due to its gentleness. It is excellent for irritated or sunburned skin.
