Description

The Damask rose is a beautiful, strongly scented flower used in cosmetics and medicine since ancient times. From the petals of the rose, rose water, rose oil, or essential oil are most commonly prepared. Unopened buds and petals from new blooms are harvested.

Effects and Usage

The Damask rose has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, disinfectant, and antioxidant properties. It is suitable for all skin types, especially dry, mature, and sensitive skin. The rose brightens tired skin and helps combat wrinkles. Due to its amazing effects, it is often included in toners or oils for mature women, but it also works wonderfully on skin with rashes or acne.

In aromatherapy, it has strong harmonizing effects and supports femininity. It positively influences psychological discomfort, insomnia, or respiratory issues.
