Description

Pelargonium odoratissimum is a plant with small pink-purple flowers originating from Southern Africa. It is primarily known for its intense fragrance, which you can sense even with a light touch. Essential oil is extracted from the leaves of pelargonium through steam distillation, and its floral, uplifting, and calming scent slightly resembles that of cabbage roses.

Effects and Use

Geranium has anti-inflammatory, soothing, astringent, and healing properties. It is suitable for all skin types. It tones the skin and supports its elasticity, regulates sebum production, and unifies the skin tone. In hair care, it helps against dandruff and stimulates hair growth.

In aromatherapy, it positively affects symptoms of menopause, helps with insomnia, and calms the nervous system.
