Description

Indian Zederach, also known as Neem, is an evergreen tree with white flowers primarily growing in Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Due to its complex healing properties, it is widely used in Ayurveda. Its active ingredients include B-sitosterol, bitter compounds, triterpenes, and flavonoids. It also contains vitamin E, minerals, proteins, fatty acids, and amino acids.

Effects and Uses

Neem has regenerative, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, and healing properties. It is suitable for all skin types, including the scalp. It positively affects eczema, psoriasis, skin fungi, and other skin issues, alleviating itching and helping to heal minor wounds. It softens the skin and provides elasticity.

When taken internally, it has detoxifying effects, reduces fevers, helps against urinary tract infections, and balances blood sugar levels.
