Hair Care at Almara Soap

Soapoo!?

Soap and shampoo in one, that's soapoo! Quality solid shampoos have spread to bathrooms around the world in recent years. Wondering why? Natural soap is the best choice for several reasons!

Commercial shampoos contain harsh cleansing agents that strip hair of its natural oils, dry out the scalp, and result in dull, lifeless hair. This leads to the need for various hair treatments, conditioners, and other products to restore lost shine and softness. The chemicals in these products can accumulate in the scalp, clog hair follicles, lead to weakened hair, dandruff, and dry, itchy skin.

The good news is that Almara Soap's natural hair care contains only natural plant oils, henna, clays, pure essential oils, herbal powders, and herbal infusions. All ingredients are easily absorbed and moisturize and nourish hair, including the scalp. Nothing artificial, nothing synthetic, just the magic of our nature!

Use soapoo like a classic soap. Rinse your hair thoroughly, take the soap bar in your hand, and create lather on your hair with circular motions. Yes! It lathers significantly due to the carefully selected blend of plant oils that contain natural foaming agents. Spread the lather all over your head and hair, leave it on for a moment, and then rinse.

The solid shampoo will faithfully stand by your side on any journey around the world, and in terms of ecology, it is a great zero-waste choice. We have three options!

Dry Hair

A solid shampoo with burdock extract, henna, aloe vera juice, pink clay, and 100% essential oils of orange and ylang-ylang for dry, damaged hair that needs to be softened, hydrated, and nourished. Recommended for colored, bleached, curly hair, and hair with increased brittleness and lifelessness.

Fresh Hair

A solid shampoo with birch extract, birch leaves, henna extract, white clay, and citronella essence, which has very soothing and antibacterial effects. It helps relieve unpleasant itching and the feeling of greasy hair while caring for and nourishing it. Suitable for problematic and oily scalps and oily hair. Adds volume to fine hair.

New Hair

A solid shampoo with shikakai, neem, and henna extracts, which have been used for centuries in Ayurveda for scalp care. Shikakai does not disrupt the protection or natural microflora of the skin. It is suitable for dehydrated skin, acts against itching, and has soothing effects. Neem has antibacterial properties and is particularly effective for skin problems, significantly alleviating the feeling of itching. Henna strengthens hair, promotes volume and shine, and cleanses the scalp.

Why use a vinegar rinse?

Every garden full of flowers needs plenty of moisture and fluids. Essentially, hair can be considered a garden, and the rinse is the much-needed liquid for growth. Herbal vinegar rinses are the best alternative to chemical conditioners and hair treatments. When using soap shampoo, it helps with the waxy film that may form due to higher skin pH or washing in hard water. It has antibacterial effects on the scalp and eliminates itching and dandruff. It helps remove dead skin cells without disrupting the skin's protective barrier. It smooths the outer layer of the hair strand (cuticle), thus eliminating tangling and making it easier to comb. The rinse is a pure natural ingredient that contains no added substances that could irritate the skin or harm the environment.

Three for a Pair:

Dry Hair Elixir

A rinse specially formulated for dry and colored hair. Contains unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar from Hostětín, in which herbs have been macerating for a month. The herbal macerate consists of six herbs: birch, nettle, sage, marigold, burdock, and horsetail. The recipe is complemented by 100% essential oils of orange, ylang-ylang, and lavender.

Fresh Hair Elixir

A rinse specially formulated for normal and oily hair. Contains unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar from Hostětín. The hair treatment also includes a herbal macerate of birch, nettle, lavender, thyme, sage, lemon balm, and yarrow, which benefits normal and fine hair. The recipe is complemented by 100% essential oils of citronella, lavender, and mint.

New Hair Elixir

A rinse specially formulated for problematic scalps. Contains unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar from Hostětín. The herbal macerate consists of burdock, walnut, ivy, marigold, and nettle. The recipe is complemented by 100% essential oils of orange, lavender, and tea tree.

Let's Water!

Pour the rinse into a container and dilute it with warm water. We recommend a ratio of 1:2 to 1:4 (i.e., one part rinse to two to four parts water). Start with a ratio of 1:4 and experiment. Every hair type is different, and a slightly different ratio works best for them. Dry hair requires more dilution than oily hair. For dry hair, it is recommended to use one tablespoon less of the elixir, and for oily hair, one tablespoon more.
You can standardly pour the rinse over your hair and then massage it into the scalp and lengths, or it also works great to pour the freshly prepared diluted rinse into a spray bottle. This way, you can get it everywhere and save on the amount used. Let the treatment sit for a few minutes; then you can either leave it on your hair to dry or rinse it off. You can watch a short instructional video on how to properly use our herbal rinses on our YouTube channel.

Vinegar smell? You don't have to worry at all. Once your hair is completely dry, the smell of vinegar will completely disappear. You can use the rinses with every hair wash, but remember that frequent washing is not too beneficial for hair, so everything in moderation! Even a flower can be overwatered. :)
