Most of you have probably heard or read about the Dead Sea. It is located at the lowest point on Earth, stretching 75 km in length and varying between 6 km and 16 km in width, with its surface approximately 420 m below sea level.

However, this is not the only distinction attributed to the Dead Sea; it is also the saltiest body of water in the world, or rather, the water reservoir with the highest concentration of dissolved minerals per unit volume. It is commonly stated that the mineral content reaches up to 30%. In comparison, the salt content in the world's oceans and seas averages around 3.5%.

Another unique feature that sets the Dead Sea apart from other bodies of water is its salt composition. The content and composition of minerals in Dead Sea salt are completely different from those in other salts (sea salts, rock salts), which predominantly consist of sodium chloride. The composition of Dead Sea salt is characterized by a high content of certain minerals, primarily magnesium salts /MgCl/ - approximately 30% and potassium salts /KCl/ - approximately 22%. Sodium chloride /NaCl/ - approximately 7% is a less significant component.

It is these minerals that make Dead Sea salt so unique and particularly suitable for cosmetic and preventive therapeutic use for treating, maintaining, and overall improving the condition of the skin.
